Our Work

This was a large five bedroom modern house in Suffolk.

The brief was to install a complete wifi and hardwire data network fro scratch this involved running-in Cat6 cables for both the wireless access points and hardwire points. We installed Ubiquiti unifi in-wall wireless access points on the ground floor and Ubiquiti unifi in-celling wireless access points in the loft to cover the first floor. We also installed hardwired ethernet points an all the bedrooms, study, and for all the TV's. 

The clients were great to deal with and the works went very well.

When Elecomms were installing the network in my house, I was very pleased with the level of communication from Robert and also the way they were carrying out the work, which was very neat, clean and tidy with minimal disruption. Even last-minute changes were not an issue for Robert who managed these with ease.

Elecomms carried out a free site survey as usual and proposed installing a complete Ubiquiti Unifi PoE Wifi system and few additional hardwire Ethernet points for the the home office computers etc, for them to connect directly to the router via a network switch in the garage so they connect to the internet much faster and so improve the overall user experience with these devices, However the main focus of the works was to get the family much faster and more reliable WIFI throughout the whole house and garden.  Elecomms recommended using Ubiquiti UniFi In-Wall Access Points in each of the ro

In 2013 we upgraded our televisions by installing three Smart Samsung sets along with a new Sky+HD package. Our computer system was also upgraded at the same time. Having used Elecomms previously and been happy with their work and on-going support they were commissioned for the upgrades. Robert made sure were happy with the end result along with organising and supervising the Sky engineer and accompanying us to John Lewis us to advise on the best TV’s etc for our needs.

Elecomms have also installed and continue maintain our CCTV systems. We also use them to reconfigure our meeting room facilities at as required by installing projectors, screens, Video monitors and the like as well as all other A/V kit needed for our modern offices to run reliably and cost efficiently.

We have always found Robert and his team at Elecomms to be knowledgeable, professional and, importantly, conscious of working in live or occupied environments and as when needed working out of hours or over weekends to get the job done within our sometimes-tight timescale.

He delivered a brilliant result in terms of my home network and Sonos experience. In addition, Robert was able to meet the needs of key stakeholders, including my wife! I would fully recommend his work

The job started out as a standard small home WIFI install as Mrs L "was fed up with having to sit on the stairs" in the middle of the house order to get a good enough WIFI signal to be usable, this was because the WIFI from BT was very week and underperforming due to the thick walls and layout of their older style home in Surrey.
